Welcome To The Daily Grind

Posted on: August 18, 2010

I must admit, my days are usually the same lately, especially the days that I work. My days off aren’t much better but I know that this is slowly changing. If I’m not doing anything, at least I may be thinking about something that may be post-worthy. With that said, i can’t expect myself to post every day . . . And that is fine for the way things are right now.

Today we finally went food shopping!

We were able to get a bunch of staples that we haven’t had in the house for a while (flour, sugar, butter ect.). But when I got home, it just seemed like we didn’t get enough for me to be creative in making some meals. I’ll deal with what we have though.

We also decided to go to a hibachi restaurant for lunch that is by our apartment. We actually walked there which was nice. It was one of those places that didn’t look amazing from the outside but it was cute and comfortable on the inside. The only reason we went there was because they had some good lunch specials. As always, we ended up spending beyond what we wanted to but we had a good time and good conversation which made it all worth it. The food was ok, we both got chicken hibachi. I couldn’t really eat a lot of it though, it was very heavy so I honored my full signals so I could save some room for dessert. I ended up taking home most of my meal though so I am excited for lunch tomorrow!

I spent the rest of the day setting up my blog and scrambling to get all the documents together for my school application. This right now, is my highest priority until i get it done. I also made it to the gym with my sister as well. All in all, i got more accomplished this Tuesday off then i usually do. I need to wind my brain down and start getting ready for bed. Maybe we will use my meditation app . . . hmmmm.
